Student Reviews

Chianti

CHIANTI, the beauty and taste of Tuscany. Here students get a first-hand look at one of the world’s great wine areas. They also visit the vineyard where opponents of the Medici, including a pope, plotted against the Medici.  Though one of the Medici rulers were killed, the events would have a tremendous impact on Italian history and the course of the world order.

The day also includes a delicious meal in the Chianti countryside.

Vatican City

VATICAN CITY is  the center for the  world’s 1.142 billion Roman and Eastern Catholics. The  walled city located in the center of Rome has a population of about 800. Though small, Vatican City includes the Basilica of St. Peter, including the Chapel of the Pieta by Michelangelo, one of his most famous works, the Vatican Palace and Museums and the Sistine Chapel.

Rome

ROMA, the eternal city. It has been said that Rome speaks for herself, and there is nothing to be added to the impressions of those who walk along her streets, who are acquainted with her long history, who love her sunsets and recognize the imprint of art in every corner.
